To be honest, I'm more inclined to believe 'Vengeance has been done.'
I'm not sure how I feel about that. Mind you, I'm not a New Yorker, nor any kind of American. But then again, neither am I an Iraqi, Afghan nor any kind of Middle Easterner. What complicates things is that I have a nephew serving in Afghanistan.
All we can hope is that maybe the end if this chapter will see a beginning towards some kind of rapprochement between East and West. Somehow, I doubt if that's going to happen anytime soon.
Please forgive the 'politicality' of this response. Somehow I just felt a response was called for.
